Awaken to the ever-changing glorious pre-dawn light. Crimson, red, purple and orange colours wash the sky and Great Oyster Bay. Watery greys look equally majestic from Avalon. Look out for the white bellied sea eagle that passes every morning.
Enjoy the delightful breakfast provisions and plan your day or don’t plan your day – just let it evolve. You can simply sit and read the interesting books from the Avalon collection, swim at the secluded beach at the bottom of the path, go fishing, walking, collect shells or – head to Swansea or Freycinet to enjoy the splendour of the east coast.
As the dance of the evening sky unfolds cook yourself up a storm in Avalon’s beautiful kitchen using your own goodies. Or embark on creating a memorable meal using our ‘Wursthaus’ gourmet mini bar provisions; luscious eye fillet steak, cheeses, olives, crusty bread, pasta and sauces all ready for you to prepare.
Light the fire, pour a glass of selected Tasmanian wine and watch the moon rise over the Freycinet Peninsula or gaze at the stars. You can watch a DVD from Avalon’s library or just snuggle up on her lichen inspired orange couch. Sleep in the Stuart Houghton made Tasmanian oak beds, dream the evening away and awaken to the glorious pre-dawn light. Surrendering yourself to the Avalon rhythm is a unique experience

Check in time is at 3.00pm.
Check Out Time
Check out on departure morning is 11am, so you can have a little bit of a sleep in.
$900 per night Monday to Thursday and $1000 per night Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We request a minimum 3 night stay long weekends and 4 nights over Easter. Please check our booking site for current tariffs because sometimes we have specials.
